Beautiful flamed-mahogany American Empire card table, on an ogee-carved pedestal support atop a reverse-curved base and four scroll-feet. Above the bull-nose table apron, the top flips open to a square. Beautiful entrance or stair hall console; natty in Nantucket, classic in Connecticut. Used casually with a collection of sea shells or formally with a wall of intaglios. Timeless. Sturdy condition. Minor chips.
